Madeline received her Bachelor’s in Anthropology from Portland State University in 2016, and a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management from Emory University in 2019. While at Emory, she was a research assistant at the Center for the Health of Incarcerated Persons, working on infectious disease prevalence estimates and treatment access issues. Prior to her research career, she was the coordinator for a non-profit gang and prison tattoo removal program.

Madeline joined the ITA in June of 2019 and is working with Dr. Jagpreet Chhatwal and Dr. Amy Knudsen. She is working on cost-effectiveness and disease outcomes studies, in the topic areas of hepatitis C, liver cancer, and opioid use disorder.
